Nutritional Therapy applies the latest theories and research in nutrition and health sciences to individuals seeking to manage chronic disease or promote optimum health through personalised diet plans and lifestyle programmes.
Food is the essential source of nutrients for our bodies. These nutrients have elementary functions in many biochemical processes such as protecting us against disease and maintaining or restoring our health and wellbeing. Sometimes there can be imbalances which will manifest through certain symptoms, such as fatigue, digestion problems or stress. Nutritional therapy focuses on and addresses the root cause of those imbalances so that the symptoms resolve themselves.
Sometimes just a few key changes can help you restore and maintain your health - both physical and mental - so that you can enjoy life to its fullest.

The initial consultation typically takes about an hour and a half (1.5 hours). The first hour is dedicated to reviewing and discussing your medical history, diet, lifestyle, family health, as well as any major health concerns you may have, and/or personal concerns and choices.
The remaining 30 minutes will then focus on designing your individualised nutritional plan and discussing recommendations on diet, food choices, and lifestyle. I will also provide you with meal ideas and practical tips on how to increase your energy levels and wellbeing.
If need be, I may also recommend laboratory and functional tests to check certain aspects of your health.
Certain cases may require a follow up consultation to discuss and assess your progress, and to make any necessary changes to your nutrition plan. This consultation normally lasts approximately 45 minutes.
